Introduction

These Terms & Conditions set out the basis on which treatments, consultations and programmes (together, the “Services”) are provided by EDIT London (“EDIT”, “we”, “us” or “our”) to you, the client (“you” or “your”). Please read them carefully before booking any Service. They explain who we are, how we deliver our Services, how you may change or end your booking, and what to do if something goes wrong.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the moment you make your booking is the version that applies to your contract with us.

By booking with EDIT, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms in full.

Appointments & deposits

  • All appointments must be booked in advance.
  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled start time so consultation forms and pre-treatment paperwork can be completed.
  • Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may have their session shortened or, where this is not possible, rescheduled in line with our cancellation policy.
  • Unless agreed otherwise in writing, a 50% deposit of the total treatment cost is required to confirm your booking. The deposit is redeemed against the price of your Service on the day.
  • Deposits are non-refundable, except where we are unable to deliver your Service and no suitable alternative can be arranged, or where your specialist determines at consultation that you are not suitable for the treatment.
  • Failure to attend, or cancellation outside of the notice window below, will result in your deposit being forfeited.
  • Card details are required at the time of booking, and the full cost of your Service will be confirmed to you (including a breakdown of fees) before payment is taken.
  • All EDIT specialists are trained and approved against our internal protocols. Where possible we will honour requests to see a particular specialist, but on some occasions you may be seen by another suitably qualified member of the team.

Cancellations & rescheduling

  • We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice to cancel or move an appointment.
  • Where less than 48 hours' notice is given, or where you do not attend, we reserve the right to charge up to the full value of the scheduled Service.
  • Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may result in future bookings being declined, or full prepayment being required for future Services.
  • To cancel or reschedule, please reply to your original booking email, contact bookings via Hello@thebodyedit.london, or message us on WhatsApp / telephone on +44 7403 076825.

Payments

  • Unless paid in advance, the remaining balance for your Service is due on the day of your appointment.
  • Certain Services and bespoke programmes require payment in full before attendance.
  • All prices are confirmed at the point of booking. We reserve the right to update pricing for future appointments without prior notice.
  • Promotional offers are valid only as stated and may not be combined with any other offer unless we say so explicitly in writing.

Courses & treatment packages

  • Treatment courses and packages must be paid in full before the first session unless a separate written arrangement has been agreed.
  • Once purchased, courses and packages are non-refundable.
  • A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to reschedule any session within a course. Sessions missed without sufficient notice may be deducted from the remaining balance.
  • All sessions must be used within the validity period stated at the time of purchase, after which they will expire.
  • Courses and packages are non-transferable except at the sole discretion of EDIT management.

Clinical photography

As part of your treatment journey, photographs of the relevant areas will be taken before and after each session. These images form part of your treatment record and are used to assess progress, support clinical accuracy and uphold our internal standards.

Treatment photography is a requirement for safety and consistency. We are unable to proceed with treatment without appropriate before and after images being captured. By proceeding with your Service, you consent to this photography.

EDIT loyalty & rewards

Any EDIT loyalty or rewards programme is exclusive to EDIT London at our studio address. Rewards earned on qualifying Services and products are valid for 12 months from the date they are issued, hold no cash value, are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

We reserve the right to update the programme structure or earn rate with reasonable notice.

Refunds

Because every EDIT programme is bespoke and individual results vary, refunds are not typically offered for Services that have already been delivered. Dissatisfaction with results alone does not constitute grounds for a refund.

In exceptional circumstances — for example where a medical issue arises — a refund may be considered at the discretion of EDIT management and may require supporting medical evidence.

Medical considerations

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete health information before treatment, and for informing us promptly of any changes to your health, medications or medical conditions.

We reserve the right to decline or stop a Service where we consider it unsafe on medical grounds. Where relevant medical information has not been disclosed in advance and we have to cancel on safety grounds at the time of your appointment, the cost of the Service will not be refunded, as it is your responsibility to share health information that could affect the safety of the procedure.

If you feel unwell or are unable to attend for medical reasons, please let us know as soon as possible.

If EDIT has to cancel

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your appointment due to circumstances outside our control, we will offer you an alternative appointment or a full refund of any payment you have made. EDIT is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from such cancellations.

General studio policies

  • Clients must be aged 18 or over to receive treatment.
  • You must follow all pre- and post-treatment guidance provided by your specialist.
  • We reserve the right to refuse Service where we consider it appropriate to do so.
  • Children must not be left unaccompanied in reception and are not permitted in treatment rooms at any time.
  • Pets are not permitted in the studio for hygiene reasons.
  • EDIT is not responsible for any personal items lost or stolen on the premises.

Liability

If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Promotional offers & gift vouchers

  • Promotional offers are limited to one per person and may not be combined with any other offer or product purchase.
  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are limited to one voucher per person.

Complaints

We take all feedback seriously and aim to resolve concerns promptly. You can raise a complaint by:

  • Speaking directly to the team member involved or to a member of EDIT management at the studio.

  • Writing to: Studio Manager – Complaints, EDIT London, [ADDRESS TO BE CONFIRMED].

Acknowledgement: we will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days of receipt.

Investigation: your complaint will be reviewed by the Studio Manager or a designated team member. This may involve reviewing records, speaking to relevant staff and contacting you for further detail. Where a complaint relates to your treatment or consultation, it will also be discussed with the specialist involved. You may be invited back, without charge, for an additional consultation to discuss findings and any next steps.

Response: once the review is complete, we will provide a written response within 30 working days of receipt, setting out our findings and any actions taken.

Appeals: if you are not satisfied with the response, you may appeal in writing within 10 working days. Your appeal will be escalated to the company directors for a final decision.

Privacy

We may collect personal and health information in order to deliver your Services. This information is used strictly in connection with your care and is handled in line with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, save where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

By booking a Service with EDIT London, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
